The Prophet’s

Perspective

Purification

I would like to remind my readers of what I wrote in last month’s newsletter: On the first day of this year, Jan. 1st, 2017, God told me to, “Tell my people to ask Me for all the things that have been lost, stolen,

“The preaching of the Kingdom of God includes the restoration of the apostolic anointing accompanied with the baptism of Fire. This message is bringing power, purification and provision to the Church. As He did in Bible days, Christ is commissioning His chosen apostles with power and authority to rule with Him. He is giving them authority to judge both the Church and the world alongside of Himself—and together they are bringing the world into accountability and the Church into the mature image of Christ—and in the process, He is dividing the spoils of war with the strong.” The above paragraph is an excerpt taken from The Church Triumphant that I have written and am presently in the process of getting published.

In previous newsletters I’ve written about ministering God’s power so now let’s turn our attention to the second aspect of Kingdom ministry that is being restored to the Body of Christ—true holiness. Holiness isn’t something that we do by obeying a set of holiness rules and laws, it is the fruit of being led by the Spirit! (see Rom. 6:19-22; Eph. 5:9). True holiness is being separated from this world’s cares and concerns and set apart for God’s service and glory. It is a product of God’s purifying process. Shortly after the Thessalonians received the Gospel they came under persecution. In his concern for their welfare, Paul sent Timothy back to check on them. He wrote, “Therefore, when we could no longer endure [the suspense] we... sent Timothy... to establish you and encourage you concerning your faith, that no one should be shaken by these afflictions; for you yourselves know that we are appointed to this. For, in fact, we told you before when we were with you that we would suffer tribulation, just as it happened, and you know. For this reason, when I could no longer endure it, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter had tempted you, and our labor might be in vain” (1 Thess. 3:1-5).

Why did Paul say they were “appointed to... suffer tribulation”? Because tribulation purifies us like nothing else can. Purification isn’t just for the apostles. God told Israel “Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction” and like it or not, Jesus said, “In the world you will have tribulation [and] everyone will be seasoned with fire” (see Isa. 48:10; Jn. 16:33; Mk. 9:49). Before God will allow us to ascend into the heavenly realms to rule, judge and wage victorious war with His Son, we must be throughly purified and made holy.

Joseph spent a combined thirteen years in slavery and prison before being exalted to rule over Egypt and in the process, provide for his brethren in the midst of great famine. Before David was anointed king he spent as many years being pursued by Saul as Saul tried to kill him in his jealousy over the kingdom of Israel. Jesus spent three and a half years enduring constant persecution and rejection, then He was crucified and had to descend into hell before He was resurrected and exalted to the right hand of the Father to rule as King of kings and Lord of lords.

The highest exaltation is always preceded by the severest of trials. The greater the promotion God has for you, the hotter His purifying fires will burn. He has a fire designed just for you, one that will accomplish His purposes and prepare you for your divine destiny and eternal reward. So don’t despair, instead, “be confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ” (Phil. 1:6). Regardless of how severe the trial is, He promised that, “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it” (1 Cor. 10:13). He will see you through!

“Helping Hands”

We are blessed! God has provided help in completely unexpected ways and from unforeseen sources! Words cannot express how thankful we are for everyone of you. Our prayers are for God to bless you as abundantly as you have blessed us! Thanks, fellows.

Prayer Partners’ Update

As most of you know, we are getting old! Please help us pray for good health so that we can continue ministering as long as God wills.

The Church Triumphant

My newest book titled The Church Triumphant will be available in both soft-cover and e-book in late May. As I mentioned last month, it is about the Kingdom of God and the fullness of the blessing of the gospel. This book reveals many mysteries that God gave to the early Church but were soon lost due to personal ambition causing strife and division from within and by severe persecution from without. God is presently restoring these lost truths to the church, including the baptism of fire with all of its resurrection power and glory! Are you ready?

Satan’s Defeat

Paul told the church that God would crush Satan under her feet “shortly”! (see Rom. 16:20). Paul’s shortly is now in the process of being fulfilled. Let’s examine the scriptural support for this promise being fulfilled now, through today’s, end-time church.

Everyone is expecting Jesus to return any day now but there’s a problem. God told Christ to “sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool” (Ps. 110:1).

God isn’t glorified until He actually does what He promises and He is seeking those who will war with Him to defeat Christ’s enemies. He asked, “Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?” (Ps. 94:16). Are you ready for war?

Moses promised Israel that if they would obey God He would “cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways” (Deut. 28:7). Jesus fulfilled the law’s just requirements and obtained its many, promised blessings, including this one of victory. Then He died to leave the blessings to us as an inheritance (since we were unable to fulfill the strict requirements the promises were predicated upon) assuring us of victory! And what are the seven ways that Satan is defeated?

1. Confusion, turning his sword upon himself (Ps. 40:14; 2 Chron. 20:22-23).

2. Flee in fear (Prov. 28:1).

3. Chased by God’s angels (Ps. 35:5).

4. Fall into his own pit, snared by his own trap and crushed by the stone he rolls (Ps. 35:7-8; Prov. 26:27).

5. Cast out by the finger (Spirit) of God (Lk. 11:20; Matt. 12:28).

6. Overcome, defeated and cast out by the word of God (Matt. 8:16).

7. Disarmed, humiliated and defeated by the cross of Christ (Col. 2:14-15).
